why I’m into astrology and you should be too.

IT’S SCIENCE OKAY!
Now for all the skeptics who left the chat, hello again! Some of you may know I love astrology. I’ve posted countless Tik Tok’s on it and recently made a whole song about a “caprIcorn”. It’s not just a “phase” or some lame excuse to be a crappy or emotional person because I’m a ~cancer~, I’ve actually always been into astrology.
Maybe it’s like fairytales, the idea of being carried away by a knight in shining armor effect. For me, astrology is a way of relating and getting to know someone. Do I think you should take astrology as 100% fact and listen to every little thing some random astrologist says about your horoscope on the internet? No! It’s the same for any belief system. Take what you like and leave the rest. I look at astrology with a grain of salt. Sure, some things I see on my FYP or I read in an article feel accurate to me and my life. But you have to factor in so many things to really have an accurate reading on what’s going in your life and who you are. For people who are skeptics or new to astrology, I tell them that as a lover of astrology I take what really relates to me at the time or personally and let go of the rest. Otherwise I’m allowing someone or something else to dictate who I am. That’s never worked for me. Things like your background, where you were raised, who raised you, trauma, those pivotal moments in your life that define who you are. Astrology gets to be the added sprinkles on top to all of that. Especially when I meet someone with my sign and they are completely opposite of me, it proves this point above exactly.
If you’ve always been against or afraid that astrology will turn you into a basic bitch, look at it as some fun insight into you and your life. It’s just another aspect to get to know yourself and others better. It’s also fun to google your compatibility with someone you have a crush on and fantasize what the relationship could be like. Try it after you read this. If you have a partner or someone you’re into (or even a celebrity), google your sign and their sign compatibility and tell me that that’s not one of the funnest things you’ve done in a while! Okay maybe it’s not the most fun, but I like it. I hope this gave you some insight and opened you up to astrology a little more. In the meantime, you can listen to my song “caprIcorn” and comment below if you’ve ever dated a Capricorn, are dating one or are a Capricorn yourself and agree with the traits and little gems in the song about that sign.
Happy Leo szn! <3
